The personal data act
This declaration of privacy protection complies with the terms of the Personal Data Act (Norwegian version only) with associated regulations.
PROCESSING OF INDIVIDUAL PERSONAL DATA IN GMC EIENDOM AS
When you use our website, when you are in contact with us in context of buying or selling, performing of duties, rent premises, applying for a job or you otherwise deal with us GMC Eiendom AS usually process personal information about you.
Our Senior Accountant acts on behalf of the Company as responsible person for the Company´s processing of personal data. See below for contact information.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
GMC Eiendom AS uses service providers (data processors) that store, access, collect or otherwise process personal information on our behalf. In such cases, we have entered into agreements with the processors to safeguard information security.
Necessary personal information, which is part of the relevant services, is shared with the following service providers;
- GMC Maritime AS
- View Ledger AS (accounting)
- Nordic Hosting AS
- Opal Digital AS
Sharing to data processors outside the EEA can take place even if the processor does not comply with the GDPR law. However, there must be other guarantees that the personal data will be processed securely. Distribution to US companies may legally occur to suppliers affiliated with Privacy Shield or who have entered into a Standard Contractual Clauses agreement. These are contractual agreements that oblige the practitioner to have an adequate level of protection.
At GMC Eiendom, such sharing occurs to the following service provider (s);
- Youtube
- Microsoft (Microsoft Office 365)
We will not pass on your personal information unless there is a legal basis for such sharing. This will only happen if it is necessary to fulfill an agreement with you, if you have consented to sharing or when we are required to disclose the information by law.
YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS WITH US
We process your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and applicable regulations. You are entitled to portability and access of your own personal data, as well as to demand rectification and erasure of information.

COMPLAINT
With the Data Inspectorate you can file a complaint in case you believe that our processing of personal data is contrary to the law.
